We are looking for dynamic, forward thinking Occupational Therapist to work collaboratively between acute and community trusts, developing relationships and services, pushing the boundaries further than before! Working together in this way allows us to provide you with unique development opportunities to support you to flourish and grow in your career. Main job duties: Provide a high standard of specialist Occupational Therapy input to the designated therapy team. Hours may be required to be worked over 7 days between 08.00am and 08.00pm, depending on service need. To backss and treat patients within a ward or community setting as an autonomous practitioner Occupational Therapy backssment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, to contribute to diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme. Hold responsibility for own complex caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, working without direct supervision. The postholder will ensure their own personal development and participate in the development of others To supervise, educate and backss the performance of Occupational Therapy students to ensure the standard of practice and teaching meets the degree standard Undertake evidence-based audit and contribute to research projects. Make recommendations to clinical lead/manager for service improvement Qualification: HCPC Registration Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy Evidence of CPD in relevant areas Experience: Treatment of a broad range of conditions.
