The Role: They are seeking a dedicated Attendance Improvement Manager to join their team, reinforcing their commitment to fostering outstanding attendance among the students. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future prospects of the students by promoting and ensuring high attendance rates. Duties: Develop and implement strategies to enhance overall student attendance, recognising its crucial role in academic success and future opportunities. Collaborate with parents/carers to improve their childs attendance, offering guidance and support to address attendance challenges effectively. Establish and maintain clear and efficient systems and processes for tracking and monitoring student attendance, ensuring accurate records are kept. Maintain a calm, patient, and empathetic approach when interacting with students, parents/carers, and colleagues. Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various aspects of the role and be open to addressing unique attendance challenges. Requirements: Previous experience working in a similar role. Passion for promoting student attendance and improving their chances of success. Enthusiasm, high standards, and a sense of humor. Strong organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team, knowing when to seek support and guidance. Calm, patient, and empathetic nature when dealing with students and parents/carers.
