Service Care Solutions are looking for a Estates Building Manager to work within the Lancashire Constabulary on a contract basis. Location: Preston Job roles/responsibilities: To manage the day-to-day repair line, provide administrative support to the Estates Department and offer technical support to divisional repair & maintenance requests. Efficiently manage reactive maintenance requests, allocating contractors and maintaining records. Oversee the Estates repair-line during regular hours, analyzing requests and contractor performance. Ensure statutory compliance and maintain records of engineer reports. Coordinate testing, maintenance schedules, and liaise with teams and contractors. Manage technical information in CAFM systems and take appropriate actions. Collect and manage meter readings. Monitor estate utilities, conduct audits, and issue permits when needed. Assist in procurement and financial tasks. Provide high-quality customer service and document processes. Handle financial administration tasks. Support general administrative duties. Participate in on-call duties. Prioritize customer satisfaction, quality, and safety. Promote equal opportunities and adhere to health and safety policies. Engage in professional development. Perform any other relevant duties as needed. Knowledge/Experience required: Qualification in Facilities Management or a relevant estate related technical area equivalent to NVQ Level 4. Experience in the use of and have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office - in particular Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point. Experience of inputting, updating, and maintaining computerised filing. Knowledge and experience of property related issues to accurately redirect internal and external enquiries to the appropriate resource.
