Our client is looking for a Senior Hydrologist to join their successful, rapidly growing Flood Risk and Drainage team within a world-renowned multidisciplinary consulting firm. Due to a consistent increase in work and new projects throughout 2023, our client is looking to bring on a Senior Hydrologist to help complete a plethora of projects across sustainable engineering, environmental consultancy and Planning. The role: As a Senior Hydrologist you will engage in project within a variety of sectors, ranging from Energy, Residential Planning to Major Infrastructure, making this is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Senior Hydrologist to get their teeth stuck into a plethora of specialisms. A successful candidate would have excellent report writing capabilities, experience working with clients (winning work and general consultative responsibilities), in addition to completion of hydraulic models individually. Our client operates out of several offices across the UK and can be flexible on location, preferably operating out of North London, Warwickshire or Greater Manchester. Qualifications/Requirements: 4 years’ experience Hydraulic Modelling with software’s such as; TUFLOW, WINFAP FEH, Flood Modeller. Client Facing; evidence of won work and consultative practices. Expert report writing capabilities. Member of (or working towards) relevant institute (CIWEM or MCIWEM) Ability to operate in accordance with design team and various internal bodies. Interest or experience in EIA is desirable.
