Main Purpose of Role: - To Lead and develop a team of Breeding Advisors & Genetic Consultant Key Responsibilities: - To be responsible for the delivery of the sales targets for their respective region- To lead, motivate and develop a team of Genetic Consultants to achieve their regional and individual targets and objectives- To develop a strong customer relationship by understanding their requirements and tailoring the product & service offering to meet this- To produce & backss activity reports in order to target key sales areas- To develop & maintain knowledge of the Cogent portfolio of products & services & share this knowledge with their team- To ensure that the Cogent policies and procedures are adhered to by themselves and their team- To attend agricultural events to market and promote Cogent products & services- To develop & maintain knowledge of the industry and market trends & share their knowledge with their team- To continuously develop and improve both themselves, their team and processes and procedures- To comply with Company policy and best practise in security, legal and regulatory compliance- To complete any other duties as required from time to time Essential Skills: - A capable leader who has a record of achieving the most out of their team by setting and managing KPI’s and targets- Has proven experience of managing a sales team/department- Experience of developing and implementing efficient and effective systems and procedures- Has a passion for providing excellent customer service- Knowledge of the Bovine Genetics Industry and the product portfolio would be advantageous but not essential - Welsh Language Essential Attributes: - Leads Themselves by taking responsibility, being positive and tackling challenges with enthusiasm- Leading Others by providing direction, communicating, motivating, empowering, giving feedback and recognising the contribution of their team members- Works well with others by building positive relationships, working with integrity,.
