As a care paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients care team in matters related to care and family law. You will provide invaluable support to their clients who are navigating complex care proceedings and child protection cases. This role requires a deep sense of empathy, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the legal framework surrounding care and family law. Key Responsibilities: Assist clients in understanding their legal rights and responsibilities in care proceedings. Provide empathetic and compassionate support to clients, especially those facing difficult family situations. Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on case progress and next steps. Assist solicitors in preparing legal documents, including court forms, statements, and correspondence. Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy. Stay updated on changes in legislation, case law, and legal procedures related to care and family law. Conduct legal research to support case preparation and provide insightful analysis to the legal team. Handle administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence. Assist in billing and invoicing for client services as necessary.
