forklift, manual handling, health and safety CNC Machine Operator / Programmer Salary is according to skills and experience Full-time Permanent Linton, Cambridge, CB21 4NN Interfocus carry out laboratory refurbishment and construction projects throughout the UK. We also design, manufacture, supply and install laboratory, office and educational furniture too. We are looking for an experienced wood machinist with knowledge of CNC operation for the production of furniture and worktops, using materials such as MDF, MFC and Trespa. We require high standards of quality, productivity and health & safety. Attention to detail and good house keeping are essential. The followings skills will be advantageous: Use of wood working machinery Use of Homag machines and Wood Wop software Experience with 5 Axis CNC and routing Experience working with MDF, MFC and Trespa or Phenolic Resin Materials. Counter-balance forklift experience You will follow information from worktop CAD drawings and program new worktops with intelligent options using Wood Wop 7. This is a physical job involving manual handling with the assistance of a vacuum board lifter. Working hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. During June, July and August we work adjusted summer hours of 6:00am to 4:00pm where the additional hours are paid at an overtime rate of x1.5.
