As they embark on an exciting venture in Wolverhampton, we are seeking a talented Site Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our dedicated team. Job Description: As a Site Engineer working on this major infrastructure project, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring its successful execution. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of engineering tasks including: Key Responsibilities: Setting Out: Utilise advanced surveying equipment to accurately set out sites, ensuring construction aligns with design specifications. Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of workmanship, proactively identifying and rectifying any quality issues. Health & Safety: Champion a culture of safety, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site. Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers and subcontractors to coordinate activities efficiently. Surveying and Data Collection: Conduct surveys and gather critical project data, contributing to detailed reports. Problem-Solving: Tackle technical challenges and provide innovative solutions as they arise during construction. Progress Reporting: Regularly update senior management and clients on project progress and milestones. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Site Engineer on major infrastructure projects. Proficiency in advanced surveying equipment and software. Thorough knowledge of construction methods and health and safety regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. CSCS Card (desired).
