JOB TITLE: Senior Legal Assistant / Paralegal HOURS: Full Time. 2 days in the office a week - local preferred due to traffic Location: South Manchester - Salary: Start £25K-£30KDue to office location you must be able to drive. Experience is essential for this, it is NOT an entry level job. There are two medium - large service dogs in the office. YOUR NEW COMPANY: A small but reputable Personal Injury specialist firm are looking to hire a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to help manage a caseload up to trail. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high value complex cases. YOUR DAY TO DAY: Assisting Fee Earners with the day to day running of varied files. You will be helping manage the whole process up to trial. Including but not limited to, Calling clients, witness statements, drafting witness statements, collect and review evidence, review medical reports, prepare trial bundles, drafting schedule of loss, anything up to trial. You will be working on a Multi Track Caseload assisting the Fee Earners. Caseload will not be in your name but there is the opportunity to have a reduced caseload in your name for the right candidate. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Personal Injury Litigation Litigation experience ESSENTIAL Experience working in a law firm assisting with running of files ESSENTIAL This firm does not do a lot of RTA work. They focus on Serious Injury, Catastrophic injury etc. RTA experience is not required. You must have experienced in drafting statement and be confident to do this without supervision.
