You will assist in being responsible for the IT capability. Responsibilities Carry out development, testing and implementation of software and systems including enhancements to the application. Design, test and implement Business Objects reports and assign this work to other team members. Act as technical expert for application: related activities guiding and directing the IT Development team. Manage the IT Development team including conducting staff appraisals and staff development. Mentoring and equipping the IT Development team to effectively support the business. Assist the IT Systems Manager to lead on the planning and scheduling of project(s) timeline and delivery Lead and empower the IT systems team. Were looking for experience with a mix of the following: Previous experience leading a team. Experience in business application design, development and support preferably with an application development background. Experience of creating and executing system test plans. Proven Oracle database experience. Oracle APEX knowledge. System and UAT testing experience. Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
