Here, you'll immerse yourself in a vibrant academic community that prioritizes continuous improvement in learning, teaching, and backssment methods, fostering an environment rich in autonomy, innovation, and growth prospects. Your role at ISC will involve instructing students in the Life Sciences and Pre-Med programs. These programs are meticulously crafted to equip international students with specialized knowledge and competencies, complemented by essential academic study skills and employability proficiencies. This preparation will enable them to excel as they transition into the second year of their undergraduate Life Sciences program or embark on their first year of the MBCh B Medicine program. ABOUT THE ROLE Plan appropriate, effective and inclusive learning programmes through schemes of work that take into account the diversity of the cohort Plan teaching sessions which accommodate individualised learning using a variety of resources, including digital learning Apply the principles of learning and teaching to provide learning activities to meet curriculum requirements and the needs of all students Select the relevant learning approaches and skill development to ensure students’ progress Apply the theories and principles of backssment including initial, diagnostic, formative and summative backssment Use a variety of methods to check learning in lessons (formative backssment) Provide regular and timely feedback to students to enable them to improve their outcomes in order to achieve progression Write summative backssments which appropriately measure the achievement of the learning outcomes of the programmes (including repeat backssments) Prepare students for summative.
