We are recruiting a Business Analyst to join the Lancaster University Strategic Projects team. This represents an exciting opportunity for those who wish to develop their career in business analysis and related disciplines, and who wish to play a critical role in the educational transformation of a top 10 UK University. About the team: Our small and friendly team works closely with senior management to provide project and programme management to initiatives of significant scale and scope critical to delivering aspects of the University Strategy. We play a central role in the successful management of institutional change by providing a consistent framework for the planning, governance, and execution of initiatives. About the role: You will perform a key role in our Curriculum Transformation Programme by supporting the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Education, the Programme Team and Theme Leads by facilitating stakeholder analysis, gathering information, shaping requirements, mapping processes, consolidating and prioritising recommendations and communicating them clearly to stakeholders. You will be responsible for co-ordinating with key stakeholders to analyse and make prioritised recommendations on changes to key infrastructure which will underpin programme delivery, for example business processes. Who should apply: We're keen to hear from candidates with the communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and who can effectively contribute to change in a large and complex organisation. We also expect excellent organisational and interpretative skills and good understanding of the role organisational culture plays in project delivery.
