The Role: The successful candidate will innovative and adaptable. They will have demonstrable experience working with a wide range of finance processes with a keen eye for detail when analysing and producing reports. This role is key to representing the charity and its trading subsidiary in all its financial dealings with its key commissioners, suppliers, regulators, and internal stakeholders. Therefore, the successful candidate should understand the financial risks and underlying financial performance of the entitys core operations. They will establish and enhance reporting of financial data through regulatory frameworks, systems, and processes. These will ensure optimum decision making at a management and trustee level to achieve the charitys objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: Development of strategic and operational plans within the finance team in support of the organisational strategy and in the furtherance of the objects of the charity Identifying the financial impact of current and potential operational changes to the Charity and escalating those in the decision: making process Ensuring the robust working of a successful finance department that operates financial controls, nominal ledger reconciliations and control accounts which are used for the foundations of our financial records Engage with business leaders and budget holders to promote an open relationship which allows accurate forecasting and budgeting, both cyclically and ad: hoc.
