A marketing leading distribution company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager, reporting to the group Financial Controller, to join its productive and sociable team. Along with a salary of GBP 50,000 per annum, you will also receive a pension scheme, and 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and shutdown over Christmas and new year. You have full responsibility for the Group's Accounts Receivable ledgers for the UK, USA, Germany, and Australian entities, plus the management, and development, of the Accounts Receivable Team (4 employees). They will only consider applicants who have managed a team previously. This role requires someone with excellent knowledge of all Accounts Receivable functions, including Invoice Financing and you should have worked within an AR team previously to a high level. Processes need to be implemented, documented, and regularly reviewed. An excellent communicator is essential for this role, not just within the Finance Team, but also across departments and within group entities to resolve queries quickly. Accounts Receivable Manager duties: : Management and development of the AR team, currently 4 employees (both senior and junior), including annual performance reviews : Ensure all training needs of the department are monitored and kept up to date : Oversee the timely processing of all AR transactions in line with our month end deadlines; invoices, credits, statements, receipts, and refunds in multiple currencies (GBP, EUR, USD, AUD) : A good knowledge of stock movement through AR ledgers : Ensure monthly AR cash collection targets are achieved and reduce overdue Debtors across the group ledgers : Monthly reviews of all ledgers with Group FC being able to identify any issues : Escalation of any problem accounts immediately : Clearly communicate and collaborate with the sales and customer services team and Group FC to identify any potential risks to the business : Regular cleanse of AR ledgers using Business Intelligence (BI).
