We are actively seeking and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager for our clients fantastic Restaurant and Inn near Kendal. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving local business offering first class food and service. Due to the location being able to drive would be advantageous. Ideal candidate profile: - Experience working in a high: quality establishment, with a track record of success. - Confident with excellent knowledge of F and B operations : ideally from a fine dining setting. - Exceptional people skills to build a rapport with guests and deliver fantastic service. - Experience working at management level. Responsibilities: - Reporting to the restaurant manager and general manager as required. - Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring all guests are looked after to the highest standard. - Ensuring that the restaurant is ready for service and the team are suitably briefed. - Managing and motivating the team to deliver exceptional service. - Organising and supervising shifts. - Resolving any guest queries or complaints in a professional and productive manner. - Perform opening and closing duties.
