They are seeking a Passive Fire Engineer to join their growing team. Working Hours are from 8.30am to 5.00pm. The Role: As a Passive Fire Engineer, you will work within the Passive Fire division under the guidance of the Head of Passive Fire Systems. Your role involves inspection, maintenance, and testing of various fire safety systems. You will follow established procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and use bespoke inspection software. You will be expected to attend sites and undertake the inspection and testing processes alone. Duties: Conduct detailed inspections and testing of fire safety systems. Follow procedures and guidance from the Head of Passive Fire Systems. Work independently on-site visits, including inspection of Fire Doors, Smoke/Fire Dampers, and Smoke Control Systems. Perform surveys, document recommendations and non-compliance issues, and assist in generating quotations. Conducting tests, diagnosing issues, and fine-tuning information systems for optimal performance. Offering technical assistance to group businesses regarding Passive Fire Protection Systems. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Fire Engineer or in a similar role. Prior experience working in a service environment. Experience in Passive Fire Systems is advantageous. Flexible working hours, including unsociable hours in London and surrounding areas. Willingness to learn technical knowledge of Passive Fire Products, Systems, and Installation Methods. Willingness to learn Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order, Fire Safety Act, and Associated British Standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leader in fire safety.
