We are looking for a trauma-informed, dynamic, experienced group work facilitator who has worked with female survivors of interactionual violence and abuse to support them on their journey towards healing. Black Country Women’s Aid Let us introduce ourselves… Black Country Women’s Aid BCWA is an established charity working across the Black Country and wider West Midlands providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, interactionual abuse and human trafficking. Services range from advocacy, civil remedies, support in court, individual and group support and access to a range of therapeutic interventions. All services are client and needs-led. Therapeutic and Wellbeing Group Work Facilitators: The Rape and interactionual Violence Project RSVP, Coventry Rape and interactionual Abuse Centre CRASAC and Black Country Women’s Aid BCWA are pleased to be working in partnership on a Home Office-funded project to develop and deliver pre-therapy and trauma-informed groups for women subjected to interactionual violence and abuse. As part of this project, each agency is recruiting a Therapeutic and Wellbeing Group Work Facilitator to design and deliver the groups, which will be delivered across the West Midlands. Job role Job Title: Therapeutic and Wellbeing Group Work Facilitator Hours: 17.5 hours per week Location: Hybrid working – with travel across West Midlands required Birmingham, Coventry and Sandwell as well as home-working Salary: Qualified Counsellor £27,852 pro rata Non-qualified Counsellor £27,344 pro rata Job Type: Fixed term until March 2025 Closing Date: Monday 16th October Is this you We are looking for a trauma-informed, dynamic, experienced group work facilitator who has worked with female survivors of interactionual violence and abuse to support them on their journey towards healing.
