Clouds House, a part of Forward's residential substance misuse treatment centre, is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to individuals seeking to overcome addiction and embark on a journey to sustainable recovery. With a strong commitment to inclusivity, Clouds House welcomes applications from individuals with 'Lived Experience' and encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds, including those in recovery from addiction, co-dependency, or gambling, as well as individuals with prior offending or homelessness experiences. Role Overview – Counselling Support Worker: As a Counselling Support Worker at Clouds House, you will play a crucial role in assisting our counselling team in delivering effective treatment and support to our clients. This position requires dedication, empathy, and a deep understanding of the 12-step process of recovery from addiction. You will be responsible for providing support to clients, assisting in structured low-level group sessions, and offering motivational support during individual sessions. Additionally, you will contribute to the organization of treatment sessions and prioritize security, health, safety, and risk management.
