POSITION SUMMARY A certified Lactation consultant and Registered Nurse with 1-2 years' experience in breastfeeding counseling. Able to plan and deliver care to the breastfeeding mother/child/dad. Perform skills required with only a minimal amount of supervision and can demonstrate leadership qualities. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida Certified by the International Board of Lactation NRP BLS Successful completion of GSMC medication test ACLS within 6 months of hire Successful completion of Basic EKG course within 6 months of employment Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of experience as Lactation Consultant #LI-YQ1 Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
