CHC Helicopter have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Officer to join the team in Aberdeen! The Engineering Officer reports to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager for CHC Scotia and is the key technical contact for the fleet they are responsible for. They provide technical and airworthiness support to the UK and global AOCs as required and are the subject matter on their fleet. This department supports multiple fleets in the oil and gas, SAR and renewables sector and ensures that the aircraft meet the current and future needs of the business. The key responsibilities of an Engineering Officer are: Drive the safety, airworthiness and performance of the company fleet of aircraft by effective management of the product with regards the items below Compliance with Part CAMO, the CAME, Department Work Instructions and all relevant Safety & Quality requirements to ensure the highest standards of their work Analysis and processing of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness, repairs, modifications and their equivalents Monitoring engine health and performance, assisting the HUMS team in vibration analysis Analysis, reviewing and updating Maintenance Programs Analysis of reliability data, SMS reports and suggesting amendments to the Maintenance Program to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft Responsible for the timely embodiment of airworthiness engineering decisions through liaison with the Maintenance Planning Team, and the Part 145 organization Maintaining and updating fleet configuration to ensure standardisation and compliance across the global fleet Utilising the company ERP system to ensure embodiment of airworthiness tasks Running and interpreting ERP system reports on aircraft status and configuration making changes as required to assure the airworthiness of the fleet Provide effective and timely response to technical queries from the Part 145 organisations Responsible for the successful.
