Job Title: ControllerDepartment: FinanceReports To: COORole Description:As the Controller at PEAKE, you will oversee all financial management and reporting aspects, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards. You play a key role in providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring the organization's financial health.Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Oversee preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide timely and accurate financial information to management and stakeholders. Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead financial planning and forecasting processes, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning. Budget Management: Develop and manage the company's budgeting process, monitoring budget variances and providing recommendations to improve financial performance. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow forecasting and analysis, optimizing liquidity and working capital management to support business operations. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls and financial policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Tax Planning and Compliance: Coordinate tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, working closely with external tax advisors as needed. Audit Coordination: Manage the external audit process, liaise with auditors, and provide support as needed to ensure timely completion of audits and compliance with audit requirements. Financial Systems and Processes: Evaluate and optimize financial systems and processes to improve financial reporting and analysis efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance, trends, and insights to executive leadership, board of directors, and other stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and recommendations Procurement Management: Manage the procurement process and oversee the procurement function. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred. Experience in financial management roles, with a progressive responsibility and leadership track record. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Experience in managing internal controls, audit processes, and compliance requirements. Leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
