Data Conversion Specialists play a vital role in the onboarding process for our clients and work with Sales and Implementation to ensure a smooth onboarding experience through the conversion of client data. This role also requires an outstanding level of customer service, technical acumen, ETL, and development experience. The Customer Success (Data Conversion) Department: The Customer Success (Data Conversion) department is a people-focused organization. We partner closely with Customer Onboarding and Sales Teams to convert customer data and ensure a successful onboarding process. Data Conversion brings value to data by ensuring it's complete, accurate, and enriched. Our depth of knowledge in software and data transformation and familiarity with the industry enable us to anticipate the needs of each practice, prevent issues, solve problems, and enhance data for better usability. The Career Opportunity: As a Data Conversion Specialist for our cloud-based EHR software, you will work in a rapidly evolving technical environment with some of the brightest minds . As we expand our data offerings, you'll have the opportunity to help establish foundational best practices for our data systems, tools, and processes. You will also work closely with implementation experts, system architects, senior data conversion specialists, and other vital teams throughout the organization to design and develop solutions that efficiently bring data from our clients’ systems into our cloud application. Areas of Accountability: Ingesting & Transform Data: Hands-on converting new customer data from existing cloud, hosted, and server-based systems to RevolutionEHR software . Provide top-shelf data migration services through complex data cleansing and manipulation operations. Drive Process Evolution: Consult and collaborate with other data conversion specialists to evaluate and iterate on technical solutions. Create detailed mappings, perform data verification, assess gaps or improvements, and contribute with fresh ideas. Promote Standards: Help develop and maintain our information systems, documentation, script writing, and data mining responsibilities and offerings. Learn and Grow: Work with senior data conversion specialists, developers, and system architects to increase your understanding of the technologies and skill sets required for high-performing teams. Competencies for Success: Familiarity with the ETL data processes, ETL tools, reporting tools, etc. Ability to work proficiently with data aggregating and analysis software Experience with Shell scripting, PowerShell, XML, Python/Pandas, Pearl, Java or other scripting a plus Experience working with SQL, MySQL, and T-SQL (Strong SQL querying skills) a plus Understanding of database structure and normalization fundamentals a plus Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VBA is a plus) and competency in Microsoft Access High attention to detail, including the data, anomalies, patterns, code and configurations, etc. Prior data migration experience and/or eye care industry experience is a plus Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio, FTP applications, SSH, and Windows/Linux Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Teams, and Microsoft Office Intermediate to advanced computer operator and basic troubleshooting skills Previous software support, technical support, or customer support skills a plus Strong commitment to quality, enhancing the user experience, and solid customer service skills Strong and consistent communication skills and the ability to call, email, and text customers Strong listening skills, ability to communicate on a variety of technical and non-technical topics, translate customer needs and experiences to provide a quality experience and drive change Strong documentation skills, update and maintain articles, and desire to improve documentation Familiarity with ticketing systems, ticket handling processes, and desire to contribute quality data Ability to take instruction, follow published guidance, best practices, and team processes Solution-oriented, takes initiative, develops solutions based on data, and understands the impact of influence, stakeholder buy-in, and inter/cross-team collaboration to achieve desired results High level of collaboration, engagement, and participation in team efforts Self-driven, resourceful, and able to work independently Exceptional drive, strong work ethic, strong time management and workload management skills Willingness to learn about the role and industry, and a desire to acquire new skills Comfortable with change, exploration, trying new things, “failing,” and reiterating Forward-thinking, analytical and conceptual thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to think outside the box to apply creative and innovative solutions At PracticeTek we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine our offers of employment. This includes internal and external market factors as well as your individual experience and skills. These considerations can cause compensation to vary but we reasonably expect to pay between $33,050-68,650 for this position.
