Responsibilities: What Our Lead Case Manager Does: • Review legal documents to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.• Assist attorneys in case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as needed.• Offer recommendations to attorneys on cost-effective ways to achieve client goals.• Draft legal documents for attorney review.• Organize and maintain case files and engagement information, electronically or in paper format, in line with firm policies.• Provide case status updates to clients and outside counsel as requested.• Collaborate with external vendors, staff, and attorneys to manage the firm's caseload, present case summaries/updates, and meet deadlines. Qualifications: What We Need From You: • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Paralegal in a family law firm.• Paralegal professional certification or advanced paralegal education (preferred).• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in law, business, or a related field (preferred).• Self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple matters concurrently.• Essential experience in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.• Professional experience in case management processes, ideally as a personal injury case manager, legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal in a family law firm.• Proficiency with computer programs, including spreadsheets, word processing, and case management software.
