Our laundry attendants perform a variety of duties including washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens. Our ideal candidate has experience with commercial laundry products and the ability to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team. Responsibilities: • Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations• Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods• Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed• Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs• Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager Qualifications: • Good understanding of commercial cleaning techniques and products• Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills• We require the ability to consistently lift 20 or more pounds• At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred About Company: Hilton was recently voted the #2 place to work!
