Our values define who we are. Be Authentic Practice Humility Cultivate Teamwork Value Time Be Trustworthy Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and our front office operations run smoothly and efficiently. Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: $75,000 - $80,000/ year (DOE), plus 10% annual bonus potential Schedule: Flexible schedule. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, schedule, review, and evaluate the work of assigned staff. Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards for the department; manage assigned budget. Oversee the selection, training, professional development, and discipline of staff. Develop, implement, and oversee service standards. Identify guest needs and provide information regarding policies, services, and amenities. Facilitate problem resolution and drive guest engagement. Ensure efficient and effective department operations. Utilize suggestive selling skills to maximize revenue and occupancy levels; set measurable upsell goals for front desk agents. Maintain knowledge of room details, rates, packages, discounts, and group package plans; process reservations and cancellations as needed. Maintain awareness of group reservations and activities on and off-site. Perform Front Office, PBX, Concierge, and Guest Services duties as required. Oversee charges and payments to guest, club owner, and house accounts. Balance Front Desk cash drawers and city ledgers. Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily night audits. Review shift and timecard reports daily, including payroll oversight. Manage logistics of large check-ins and check-outs, coordinating with housekeeping. Maintain accounting of lost & found items. Lead all department and interdepartmental communications. Ensure front of house areas are clean and staff comply with grooming standards. Manage and follow up on guest incident reports, coordinating with insurance and communicating with guests. Oversee guest shuttle vehicles, including maintenance, insurance, and registration. Ensure proper filing and communication of call logs, MOD reports, daily reports, and opportunity logs. Work closely with Reservations Manager to manage room inventory. Maintain required supply inventory. Ensure proper processing of hotel wake-up call program. Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, promoting energy and sustainable conservation efforts. Oversee safe deposit box operations. Notify engineering of maintenance needs. Resolve customer complaints/queries satisfactorily. Assist with budgeting information annually, seasonally, or quarterly as requested. Oversee duty rosters and ensure staffing levels are correct. Contribute to a harmonious and effective workplace environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in hotel management or a related field; AND four (4) years of hotel operations management experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid driver's license required.
