Job Summary:The Analyst will provide support in delivering real estate market analysis, research, and reporting, as well as other commercial real estate loan underwriting and debt consulting support. This role manages multiple assignments under tight timelines. Essential Job Duties: * Conduct in-depth market research for a full range of multifamily assets types including existing apartment properties (over 100 units), land development, fractured condominiums. * Create and update various informational spreadsheets and database files including sales and development pipeline data. * Perform market surveys on multifamily assets: tracking rents, occupancy, concessions, and other relevant property operating data. * Identify multi-family assets (100 units and above, development sites, etc.) for potential disposition using various forms of research. * Provide support to the investment sales team with real estate analysis, loan underwriting and debt consulting. * Analyze and interpret operating statements, rent rolls and leases for a variety of commercial properties. * Conduct property / site inspections when needed. * Provide credible recommendations based on market research and analysis. * Maintain the market data integrity used in the research function, which includes overseeing data collection, data input/verification and review, etc. * Assist in the collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of market research data through internal and outside sources. * Formulate text and graphics for regular market information reports. * Monitors the research capabilities of local market competition. * Understand all purchased research-related data sources including but not limited to, tax record information, ownership information and tenant prospect databases. * Corporate Programs and Policies * Coordinate requests and responses between the local office and Company resources. * Maintain the research reference library, including periodicals, reference publications, reference software, plat maps, property brochure files and research files. * Research and recommend new subscriptions, prepare related invoices and provide input on subscriptions. * Conducts and executes Web searches for pertinent data and information related to research and analysis of local, regional and national trends that influence the commercial real estate market. * May perform other duties as assigned.Skills, Education and Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or other related field required * 0-3 years of experience related to commercial real estate experience preferred * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Advanced Excel knowledge and familiarity with Argus * Ability to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment * Strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills * Benefits and Perks: * Industry leading Parental Leave Policy (up to 16 weeks) * Generous healthcare * Bright Horizons back-up care program * Generous paid time off * Education reimbursement * Referral Program * Opportunities to network and connect within the industryWorking Conditions: Normal working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements.Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 annuallyThe expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held.
