Job Summary: The candidate will support and oversee field subcontracts. Maintains a continuing review of the progress of each subcontract and provides management with information regarding any financial, legal, or technical issues. Preparation of change orders and amendments and resolves any technical issues. Targeted subcontracts include major steel erection of the FAB Building. LI:SM2 Major Responsibilities: stylemargin:bottom:3.0px;margin:top:3.0px::Primarily interfacing with major steel erection subcontractor for the FAB Building, potentially can be expanded to include other subcontracted scopes:Overall planning, coordination, and scheduling of subcontractor work Interface with Lead Superintendents, Lead Field Engineers, the direct hire team and other team members; serve as a focal point for coordination of work by assigned subcontracts:Monitoring and inspecting the subcontractor's quality of work, validating subcontractors installed quantitiesand monthly progress payments and invoices:Monitoring subcontractor force account, time and management reports, and coordinating subcontractor's activities with work performed by others:Performing surveillances and inspections of subcontractors' work to confirm compliance with subcontract requirements; monitoring subcontractor submittals and coordinating project review of same, and coordinating with Engineering when applicable:Exercises professional judgment within the framework of broad guidelines provided by superiors:Providing direction to subcontractors, construction office technicalor clerical personnel:May participate as the Construction representative during the formation and bid, evaluate, and award phases of assigned subcontracts, and monitoring the subcontractors work processes to ensure adherence to
