Qualifications A Masters Degree in non:profit management, social services, counseling, program development, HR, or a closely related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing and/or operation, budgeting, and social services is also required. 5 years of experience managing grants and programs can be substituted for a Masters Degree. The VP of Mission and Employment Services possesses leadership abilities, communication and listening skills, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to read for details and understand financials. Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Work with the CEO to execute all strategic goals and initiatives.: Monitor existing platforms for grant and funding opportunities that align with the mission, strategic plan, and financial needs of the organization.: Collaborate with internal leaders and external state, local, and community leaders to develop opportunities to expand services and funding for the agencys mission and strategic plan.: Monitor grant and program performance against stated goals, communicate progress, and develop plans to remediate issues where they exist.: Ensure that grant renewals, licenses, accreditations, and contracts are completed promptly and effectively.: Maintain active and broad external engagement to ensure awareness of local community needs and opportunities and ensure the agency is prepared and positioned to meet those needs.: Provide operational support and high:level oversight of grant operations as assigned by CEO.: Plan and monitor the development of innovative and scalable cross:department programs that support agency employees.: Work with outcome system and agency databasesto track and report agency data.: Other Duties as assigned Benefits: Immediate date of hire individual and family medical benefits.: Individual and family dental and vision benefits on the first of the month following the hire date.: Employer Paid Basic Life and AD and D Insurance on the first of the month following the hire date.: 403(B) Retirement on date of hire.: 403(B) Retirement + Employer Match after one year of employment: 401(A) Retirement on date of hire.: PTO Accrual up to 15 days based on hours worked.: Employee store discount: Paid holidays: Flexible Schedules: Career Growth Opportunities MERS Goodwill is an equal:opportunity employer.
