Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm's clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. If you have the ability to handle a diverse caseload, have stellar research and writing skills, can communicate effectively, and use today's technology well, please start your application today! Responsibilities: --- Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects --- Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions --- Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome --- Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings --- Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks Qualifications: --- Able to work independently while handling multiple files --- Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred --- Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required --- Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must --- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary About Company: The Law Firm of Dennis P Block & Associates is the premier law firm for representing income property owners in Unlawful Detainer actions.
