Lighthouse Lab Services is looking for an experienced Blood Bank Technologist to join a large healthcare system as their team lead in Macon, GA. Shift: Days Primary Responsibilities: Performs Patient and Quality Control (QC) testing, develops skills and maintains competency in routine and assigned laboratory areas. Maintains proper inventories and correctly uses supplies and reagents. Performs advanced equipment troubleshooting and equipment maintenance. Ensures a smooth transition to the next shift. Participates in quality safety and compliance programs. Investigates documents and resolves problems or complaints. Serves as trainer and role model for Clinical Laboratory Scientist 1 staff and health care professional students. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. Preferred Profile: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology MT(ASCP) or SBB(ASCP) 2+ years of blood bank experience Salary and Benefits: 27-34/hour Health, Vision, Dental About us: At Lighthouse Lab Services, we offer solutions to help start, grow, and run clinical laboratories.
