Do you have a passion for crafting engaging videos and a knack for storytelling? Are you a skilled editor with experience in the fast-paced world of streaming services or tech entertainment companies? If so, we'd love to have you on our team! This is a unique opportunity for a talented Freelance Video Editor to join our team on a project basis, with a commitment of up to 20 hours per week. We collaborate with senior editors who bring diverse expertise and work on a variety of exciting projects, including: Prototyping and concepting narratives for promotional videos Documentaries and short films Advertising and music videos Social media content Streaming content and experimental formats What We're Looking For: Experienced Video Editor: A proven track record editing a variety of productions, including documentaries, short films, ads, promos, social media content, with a plus for streaming services and tech entertainment projects. Technical Skills: Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro with a strong understanding of the entire Adobe Suite. Additionally, we're looking for someone who thrives in editing various aspect ratios (horizontal, square, vertical). Strong Communication: Fast, flexible, and effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with our team. Diverse Portfolio: Your portfolio should showcase your ability to handle different styles and projects. Bonus Points (but not required): Elevated Storytelling: Experience with color grading, sound design, and motion graphics integration to further elevate your edits. Directorial Experience: Prior experience directing or working as a Director of Photography (DP) is a plus. Corporate Experience: We value editors familiar with working in-house with major corporate marketing and brand teams (e.g., Disney, Meta, Apple). Compensation: This freelance role offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $108 to $120. Client Description Love television and movies?
