About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Grant Writer to join our team and play a vital role in securing funding for our critical mental health programs. With a unique understanding of the spatial aspects of mental health, you will craft compelling grant proposals that highlight the impact of our initiatives on specific geographic areas. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough research to identify grant opportunities aligned with our mission and expertise in spatial mental health. Develop persuasive and well-structured grant proposals that adhere to funders' guidelines and deadlines. Collaborate with program staff to gather data, translate program objectives into clear and measurable outcomes, and showcase the impact on targeted geographic populations. Utilize spatial data and analysis to demonstrate the geographical need for our programs and the potential impact on specific communities. Manage the grant writing process from start to finish, including proposal development, budget creation, and communication with funders. Track grant submissions and maintain communication with funders regarding the status of proposals. Assist with grant reporting requirements to ensure compliance and continued funding. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Public Health, Social Work, Non-Profit Management, or a related field. Minimum of [X] years of experience writing successful grant proposals, preferably in the non-profit sector. Strong understanding of mental health issues and the impact of spatial factors on access to care and outcomes. Excellent research, writing, and editing skills with the ability to tailor proposals to specific funders' requirements. Proficient in grant management software and databases.
