PATTERN SHOP TECHNICIAN Position Summary The Pattern Shop Technician will be responsible for transporting, cleaning, and inspecting pattern equipment for daily production. They will also work to complete gating and corebox repairs. They will assist in the initial production of gating for new patterns and rigging of new core boxes. Primary Responsibilities Rigging and repairing patterns to specifications provided Rigging and repairing core boxes to specification provided Tooling delivery, retrieval, cleaning, and inspection for daily production Maintain a clean and orderly workspace Other duties as assigned Qualifications Patternmaking experience preferred but not required Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus Basic shop mathematic skills Able to complete accurate work with strong attention to detail Strong sense of responsibility and accountability Physical requirements include lifting up to 80 lbs., as well as the ability to bend, twist, reach and walk.
