If you want to work for a company that makes positive impacts to the electronic measurement community, you can join this culture.</p><p><strong>As an Advanced Material Handler your responsibilities will be: </strong></p><ul><li>First point of contact for questions and escalations from a team of material handlers</li><li>Provide one on one training to new employees, in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements and within written job description</li><li>Identify process efficiencies and/or productivity enhancements quarterly, or as determined by your direct supervisor </li><li>Become a subject matter expert, on material handler responsibilities and assist the team as appropriate</li><li>Ability to communicate professionally to all levels within the company</li><li>Identify any safety or compliance opportunities, and provide solution-oriented feedback through to completion</li><li>Prepare and ship items using the appropriate shipping method, select appropriate shipping container, pack items for safe delivery</li><li>Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct</li><li>Receives and unloads incoming materials and uses available tools to verify accuracy of shipments</li><li>Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received</li><li>Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel</li><li>Traces lost shipments and/or file claims for lost or damaged items</li><li>Routinely performs administrative functions such as maintaining department databases, prepare routine reports, file shipping and receiving records</li><li>May operate material handling equipment that could include forklift, electric pallet jacks, shrink-wrap machines, carousels, walkie-stackers, order pickers as needed </li><li>Provide root cause and corrective actions for monthly business fundamentals, that fall out of control, or as requested by direct Supervisor </li><li>Provide first level auditing of job transactions and output for compliance with written processes and required guidelines</li><li>Partner with direct supervisor on coordination of month end, quarter end, or yearend output requirements</li><li>Flexibility to manage competing priorities, professionally and thoroughly</li><li>Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, written work instructions, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or health standards </li><li>Performs miscellaneous logistics related administrative duties as assigned</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, working environment and optimize space utilization</li><li>Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds, without assistance</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of previous material handling experience required </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Previous material handling experience with Keysight Technologies/Agilent/HP is preferred </li><li>Demonstrated track record of success driving continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Experience with Oracle WMS, TA-15, and logistic carrier databases preferred</li><li>Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods</li><li>Demonstrates effective listening and communication (verbal and written) skills</li><li>Demonstrated success in a diverse, team-oriented work environment</li><li>Good organizational and time management skills</li><li>Experience with operation of material handling equipment preferred</li><li>Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM</li><li>Experience with MS Suite of applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word<br /> </li></ul><p><strong>Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation): Pay Range: </strong>$19.00/hour - $20.00/hour W-2. <strong>Benefits: </strong>Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met). <strong>Work Schedule:</strong> Monday thru Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week). <strong>Work onsite:</strong> 1400 Fountain Grove Parkway, Santa Rosa, CA, 95403. <strong>Contract Duration:</strong> 24 months (06/10/2024 to 06/09/2026). </p>
