Childcare Sufficiency Officer - Barnsley Are you a passionate, dedicated Childcare Sufficiency Officer looking for your next role 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Childcare Sufficiency Officer to join a team based in Barnsley. Umbrella Rate: £18.70 per hour Duration: 3 months initially Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hrs/week – Hybrid Childcare Sufficiency Officer role: Full JD Available Enable the local authority in carrying out its duty relation to the sufficiency of childcare provision Enable the service to meet specified targets and statutory requirements within agreed timescales Undertake the mapping of current provision Consult with parents/carers, providers, and children about demand for childcare Provide business planning and marketing advice and guidance to new and existing early years childcare providers and schools Work closely with finance officers and budget managers and providers to complete funding applications and business plans to support development of high-quality, sustainable provision Provide ongoing monitoring, advice, support and challenge providers to ensure high quality inclusive practice is maintained, improvements are monitored and poor practice is reported through appropriate channels Working in a collaborative manner with teams across the local authority, schools, families, childcare providers including private providers, childminders, community and voluntary organisations and early years settings to backss supply and demand and expand childcare provision including wraparound that is accessible to children and families, including those with SENDMonitor and report on take up, availability, supply and demand and work with the Df E to provide ongoing accurate data to support with the monitoring and evaluation of the programme Undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade as requested by management Attend meetings, reviews and conferences where necessary Essential Requirements Level 4 qualification in a relevant field A strong.
