We have MULTIPLE morning shifts available! Start time is at 3:30AM for AM Shift schedule for 4 days and 10 hours+ shift, closed on Saturdays.Or if you are looking for a PM Shift, we also have a 6PM start up until work is done, 4 days and 10 hours+ shift, closed on Saturdays.Who are we looking for?Willing to train the right candidate for this role but if you have at least 1yr warehouse experience with electric pallet jack and order selecting (or material handler) we want to meet you!Must be ok with working in fridge and freezer (from 32 to -10 degrees)Work week is 4x10hr shifts.Sundays areMANDATORY.Saturdays are always OFF!Physical ability to handle constant lifting of 90+lbs.Pay Rate: $21.25/hr. + FT Benefits & Incentive Pay, and Night Premium ONLY for PM Starts Weekly pay - every Friday!Position Overview:Order selectors are responsible for having a strong understanding of the equipment they use, pick locations in the warehouse, pallet building, productivity measures and safety procedures.Experience (Required):Minimum one year warehouse experienceMinimum one year experience with electric pallet jack, rider pallet jack, or similarMinimum one year experience with order selecting (or material handler)Job Responsibilities and Basic Duties:Operates a double pallet jack throughout the warehouse.Selects cases and applies pick labels.Obtains work assignments.Works in a fast distribution center environmentStacks cases onto palletsInspects equipment and fills out inspection checklist.Cleans work area.Performance Measurements: Selector functions are completed in accordance with Company standards and procedures including quality standards and safety regulations. Effective communication and coordination exist with Company personnel and with management. Assistance and support are provided as needed. Deadlines are met.Skills/Abilities:Understanding of Safety guidelines and basic RF system functions idealAbility to select at established minimum rate for department.Astute, close attention to detailAbility to lift 90+ pounds continuously.Understand and properly follow all selecting procedures and verbal instructions in your respective area: grocery, repack, cooler/freezer.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
