Join a Local Company at Caring Transitions of San Diego East Caring Transitions of San Diego East delivers professional and courteous services to help seniors and their families with home cleanouts, rightsizing, move management, online auctions, estate sales, and more. In this role, you are part of a growing team that provides excellent customer service to clients at what can sometimes be an uncomfortable stage in life. Pay: $18-21/hr Hours: Part-time, Day-Shift Benefits : Flexible hours - you pick when you work! Make a difference in the lives of others Opportunity for advancement and to grow with the company Work in different and unique environments Interact with antiques, jewelry, and other personal treasures Great for retirees, stay-at-home parents, and caregivers. Responsibilities: Sorting, organizing, and packing household goods to be moved or sold. Safe handling of moving supplies and boxes within a client’s home. Safely packing and unpacking belongings and managing the movement of boxes/décor/home furnishings within client homes and new locations. Disposal of unwanted items for donation, recycling, or removal. Packing and shipping items purchased through online auctions or in-person estate sales. Polite and professional interaction with clients, their families, and customers. Operation of cash register / point of sale devices, as needed. Required skills: Prior experience working in retail, resale, or thrift stores - a plus! An interest in antiques and refurbishing items - a plus! Home organization and staging - a plus! Reside within 10 miles of the following San Diego zip codes: 92104, 92105, 92115 or 92182 Be able and comfortable lifting heavier items Have a valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation Comfortable operating a smart phone (taking photos, positing online descriptions, participating in online marketplaces) and working with other online services Able to work in unkempt environments Access to a computer for scheduling, time-keeping & project management applications Apply now or learn more about Caring Transitions of San Diego East at www.caringtransitionssandiegoeast.com.
