This is 100% on siteAs a Network Administrator you will: * Systems administration programming in PERL to more tightly integrate LDAP with email, file serving, and web serving over an intranet * Administering Active Directory and LDAP server * Setup, administration and troubleshooting of Windows, Linux and Mac clients in a heterogeneous network environment * Assist administering collaboration servers (such as Exchange) to synchronize email, calendars and address books across client applications (Outlook, Thunderbird, Entourage) and PDAs (Blackberry, iPhone) * Reviewing technology requirements and then designing systems and programs to meet them * Ensuring system integrity and uptime * Assisting with installation of technology upgrades * Assists with related special projects, as required * Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pmThis is a Full Time OpportunityThe ideal candidate will have: * BS degree in Computer Science (or other similar Engineering degree) * 5+ years network administration * 3+ years experience programming with PERL * 3+ years administering Windows and either Linux or Apple computers in a networked environment * 3+ years administering Active Directory / LDAP * 3+ years experience with MySQL (or other SQL database) * Must understand end user needs to develop useful systems that interface with existing applications. * Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills * Organized, detailed and dedicated * Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and efficientlyDesired Skills: * Programming: Perl, C, C++ * Hardware: SMP, SAN, NAS, RAID1, 5 & 6 (and software RAID), SATA II, SAS * Linux: Configuring & customizing the kernel & daemons * Networking: VoIP, TCP/IP, Ethernet and wireless protocols * Security: SSL, SSH and PKI * Mail server administration: Exchange, Cyrus IMAP, Postfix * Mail clients: Outlook, Thunderbird and Entourage * Web site: HTML, Javascript, DHTML and DOM * DBMS: Configuring, maintaining and optimizingPay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
