The Warehouse Receiving Supervisor will be responsible for the efficient and accurate daily operations of the distribution center. This person will oversee daily activities of employees to ensure the distribution center provides quality and efficient performance while maintaining a safe, productive environment. Work Schedule: :Position is on:site in Wilkes Barre, PA:Mon:Fri 10 a.m.until 7 p.m. or noon to 8 p.m. (hours subject to change due to high demands, with occasional overtime required.:Pay: 24:28/hour and eligible for quarterly incentive. Perks/Benefits: :Full package of medical, dental, vision and supplementary insurance programs.:PTO (Sick and Vacation), Holiday Pay + 1Floating Holiday,401K, Tuition Reimbursement, etc.:Most importantly, we have fun team member appreciation events throughout the year Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: :Daily work assignments and schedules for shipping, receiving, and inventory control departments.:Supervise between 15:20 employees.:Participate in the hiring, coaching, and training of facility personnel.:Teaching and training of current and new warehouse personnel.:Participate in the performance evaluation and increases for warehouse personnel.:Productivity goals for warehouse and meeting those goals.:Ensuring that the product received and shipped meets or exceeds customer expectations.:Lean programs within the facility.:Ensuring that safety rules and policies are followed by all employees.:Purchasing and maintaining warehouse equipment and supplies.:Working with Distribution Center Manager in developing goals and objectives for the operations department.:Ability concepts of basic algebra and geometry.:Ability common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.:Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.:Ability to identify priorities and shift focus to new priorities as needed. Physical Demands :Regularly required to stand or walk for majority of shift:Occasionally required to sit and stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl:Must be able to handle product weighing up to 50+ lbs. Education/Experience :High school diploma required.:3+ years related experience in supervising, warehouse and personnel management.:Experience in SAP, Lean Management or Six Sigma is strongly preferred.:Forklift ExperiencedWoodgrain is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
