Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per week Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily accounting operations by developing monthly projections and yearly budgets• Recommend changes that will enhance profitability by reviewing balance sheets, income statements, and expense accounts and ensuring their accuracy• Effectively monitor and track all accounts receivable, while also creating and controlling accounts payable invoicing• Verify general ledger accounts, investigate and correct account discrepancies, and review daily revenue activity list to ensure accountability• QuickBooks Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in QuickBooks Online to handle all aspects of financial transactions, reconciliation, and reporting• Month-end Closing: Assist in executing month-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements• Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making Qualifications: • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)• Superior customer service skills, math skills, relationship skills, and communication skills are preferred• High school diploma or equivalent GED required; degree in finance or related field preferred• QuickBooks Online Expertise: Proven experience and proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must• Accounting Experience: Previous experience in accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines• Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a dynamic work environment• Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly About Company: We are a fast-growing, young company that has been in business for six years.
