This position will be responsible for hiring, training, and overseeing employees, as well as making sure they follow all federal, state, and local regulations. We need a leader who can inspire and direct a high-energy group to achieve their goals in a fast-paced restaurant. Responsibilities: • Retain proper inventory levels of food and dining items and make precise plans for anticipated sales patterns• Oversee staffing levels by recruiting, interviewing, and training candidates for all restaurant positions• Make sure that all laws and standards for food service sanitation are followed• Assure all products and services are consistent with company quality standards• Achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction while providing quick service for all restaurant customers Qualifications: • Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills• Computer skills and experience with MS Office strongly desired• This position requires 1-3 years of previous experience managing a staff or relevant role, ideally in the quick service restaurant industry• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED• Must have previous experience in food service managing food inventory levels, operating costs, and budgets Compensation: $22 - $28 hourly About Company: Castaways is synonymous with summertime in Chicago.
