This dynamic organization offers a friendly work environment and opportunities for growth. As a Sheet Metal Fabricator you will: * Reads Job Specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements * Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template * Positions work piece against stops or align layout marks with die or blade * Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction * Measures workpiece dimensions to determine the accuracy of machine operation * Removes burrs, sharp edges * Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces This is a full time opportunity. Temp to hire. Day shift M-F The idea candidate will have: * One to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations * Regularly performs tasks that will require heavy lifting, carrying and moving materials weighing 50 - 100 lbs. or more off the ground, up and overhead * Hand fabrication and layout skills are required Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
