I. General Summary: Considered by peers as a senpai in their department. Responsible for production, material flow, and quality of work. As an Onboarding Facilitator, will also develop and provide training to all new hires and any necessary retraining of existing employees in their assigned department. Supports continuous improvement through training.II. Essential Job Functions:A. This position is required to conduct all Essential Job Functions of the Team Member position. When not scheduled to provide or develop formal training, the position will be expected to operate as a Team Member in their assigned work location/department. B. Adept at performing quality checks, material flow documentation, and daily maintenance to ensure proper function of equipment.C. Role model in the areas of maintaining 5S, safety protocols, and work standards in their assigned department.D. Adept at identifying safety characteristics of products and identifying visually good and bad quality characteristics.E. Ability to develop, present, and adapt training to employees in classrooms, dojo's, plant floor, or other venues of varied size and need.F. Ability to satisfactorily demonstrate to, and coach employees on, the operation of different disciplines and functions within each different location of their department. G. This position must also be familiar with TBA/TBTN philosophies, TBTN departments, and TBTN key stake holders pertaining to their assigned department to further improve training programs. H. Responsible for assisting department leadership with tracking and completing On the Job Training (OJT) paperwork and maintaining training matrix's on employees.I. Coordinate with Human Resources staff to plan training for new hires and existing staff.J. Ability to interpret metrics and KPI data pertinent to the production climate in their assigned department and make recommendations to improve training.K. Expected to deploy employee training on alternate shifts, as needed.L. Travel off site for updates to training protocols, as needed. M. Must speak fluent English and Spanish.N. Translate training documents and other required documents.O. Interpret instructions for limited English proficiency members.III. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Education: * High School Diploma or GED* Post high school course work in presentation, instruction, and/or public speaking preferred.Experience:* Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the discipline of the assigned department required.* Prior work experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.* Prior work experience developing and presenting training programs and/or a demonstrated history of mentoring preferred.
