River Oaks Country Club is hiring immediately! Reporting to the A La Carte Manager, the Server Assistant is responsible for serving and assisting our Members and guests in our dining rooms. These range from fine dining to casual and family friendly dining rooms. Part-time positions available - Dinner Shifts Available - $16.00 - $18.00/hour Duties and Responsibilities Assist the front server in a friendly and courteous manner. Follow the service sequence and standards of the club. Reset tables as needed before, during and after service hours. Assist in food delivery, taking out trays of food with large tables when available, serving, condiment service, ground pepper service, and bread presentation. Ensure sufficient set-ups for service station, including silver, china, sugar, creamers, tea, tea box, water; Polish and set silverware, glasses and china. Seat guests in the absence of the Host. Clean equipment including iced tea machines, coffee machines and bread box. Qualifications Work experience in hospitality is preferred. High school diploma. Fluent English speaker. Personal Characteristics Able to work well without direct supervision. Knows what to do and does not hesitate to do it. Is easy to approach and talk with; You are warm, pleasant and gracious. Cool under pressure; You listen and think before reacting. You naturally act with the Member in mind; You are dedicated to exceeding Member expectations. You genuinely care about people and are available and ready to help.
