Practice Area: Tax - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Tax Associate Attorney with the following responsibilities: Duties:Conducting extensive legal research and analysis on various tax matters.Drafting legal documents including memoranda, agreements, and opinions.Assisting senior attorneys in transactional tax matters.Collaborating closely with securities and finance lawyers within the firm.Engaging with investment bankers, financial advisors, and government officials on tax-related issues nationwide. Requirements:Admitted to practice law in California.Preferably 2-4 years of experience in tax law.Strong understanding of transactional tax principles. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications:Any relevant tax certifications are advantageous. Skills:Proficiency in utilizing legal research tools and databases.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
