We hiring a hard-working and capable fence installer to join our growing team. The work involves preparing, removing, and installing a variety of fences around our client’s properties. You’ll take direction from the foreman, and use hand and power tools to get the job done. Job seekers should know how to use an auger, enjoy working on a team, and be physically fit. Responsibilities: • Prepare the area for new fences using hand and power tools• Configure wood, vinyl, chain link, and electric fences• Connect fence posts, lines, and rails• Inspect and maintain, or remove old fences• Clear debris from worksite once the job is complete• Measure and lay out ranch and agricultural fence lines to establish fence location based on instructions, drawings, or specifications.• Gather information needed to ensure there are no electric, gas/oil, communication, water, or sewer lines within the area, dig trenches and post holes using post hole diggers or power-driven augers., stretch wire and assemble gates. • Perform basic welding.• Use power tools.• Mixing and pouring concrete.• Painting fence as needed. Qualifications: • Must have 1-year experience in construction, fencing, and carpentry is required• Physically fit and good hand dexterity required• Valid driver’s license• A high school diploma or GED is preferred• Great communication, interpersonal, and customer satisfaction skills are preferred • 1-year experience in construction, carpentry, or agricultural/ranch fencing is required.• Must be able to follow instructions, take direction well, and be able to adapt to changes.• Must have a strong work ethic be a strong team player willing to help wherever necessary and have a "can do" attitude.• Good hand dexterity and physical fitness are required.• High school diploma or GED.• Must be authorized to work in the United States.• Must be able to successfully pass drug screening.• Must be willing to submit to a criminal background screening.• Must have a valid driver’s license. • Ability to work in all-weather elements.• Able to lift 80-100 lbs.
