JOB SUMMARY The End Point Security Engineer is responsible for executing the enterprise-wide strategy to identify, implement, and support of End Point Defense solutions within the environment. This hands-on position requires strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams to ensure the operational effectiveness of technology solutions in compliance with information security policies, and regulatory obligations. SALARY: The pay range for this position is $48.00/hour ($99,840/year) for entry-level qualifications - $84.00/hour ($174,720/year) for highly experienced candidates. The Specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience. BONUS: Eligible for an annual bonus up to 5% ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE Ensures that all system platforms are functional and secure. Ensures fulfillment of legal and contractual information security and privacy mandates. Manages security audits, vulnerability, and threat assessments, and direct responses to network or system intrusions. Reviews, implements, updates and documents companywide information security policies and procedures. Works with upper management to establish acceptable level of risk for enterprise computing platforms. BENEFITS Our competitive benefits package includes the following Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5% Tuition Reimbursement PTO accrual beginning Day 1 Note: Benefits may vary based upon position type and/or level PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting in-depth issues at the endpoint level related to endpoint security toolsExperience with hardware and software for networking, distributed computing, virtualization, large-scale, high-performance storage systems, operating systems, databases, telephony and cloud computingDemonstrated experience working with tools such as Advanced EDR, SIEM, DLP, Group Policy, Email Security, Access management, Host-Firewall in either an incident response or engineering role.Demonstrated ability to coordinate with Security Architects, Principal Engineers and Security Analysts to understand and implement services and policies based on requirementsDemonstrated ability to configure tool integrations and advise on best practices from an Endpoint Security perspectiveAbility to execute under pressure and quickly pivot between tasks while maintaining focus on primary projects and deliverablesAbility an willingness to mentor and collaborate with junior security engineers and analystsFamiliarity with change management best practices and ability to follow them is required.Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or RemedyProfessional certifications such as: CISSP, GISP, GCED, CEH, or other relevant industry certification and/or desire to obtain such certifications.
