Position Summary This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of food production, supply chain management, and operational logistics. The intern will work closely with multiple departments, contributing to the creation and management of production schedules, inventory tracking, procurement processes, and more. Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities Production Work Order Creation: Assist in the development and issuance of production work orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to meet production goals. Supplemental Schedule Creation: Collaborate with the production planning team to develop supplemental schedules that align with overall production plans and deadlines. Communicative Collaboration: Engage in regular communication and collaboration with various departments to ensure seamless operations. Aged Inventory Tracking and Reporting: Monitor aged inventory, prepare detailed reports on inventory status, and suggest strategies for effective inventory management and reduction. Procurement Tracking and Reporting: Track procurement activities, analyze data to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement, and report findings to the relevant departments. Material Requirements Planning Analysis: Conduct analysis on material requirements planning (MRP) to support efficient resource allocation and inventory control. Supply Chain Exposure: Gain insight into the day-to-day workings of a developed and integrated supply chain, learning about best practices in supply chain management and operations. #INDTOL Position Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Food Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
