Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ResponsibilitiesAbout You: * Perform sample analysis using AA, FTIR and ultra violet-visible spectrophotometer. * Extract and prepare samples for instrumental analysis. * Log chemical supplies into the department and track expired chemicals / reagents * Handle reagents, solvents, standards, and related certificates of analysis. * Maintain chemistry sample shelf. * Perform sample calculations and write up in laboratory notebook and report results. * Perform U.S.P. identification and assay test. * Conduct tests using pH and conductivity meter, TOC analyzer, refractometer, polarimeter, and other similar instruments. * Learn other test procedures as needed.Required Qualifications: * Experience with analytical instruments, MS Office and LIMS software is preferred but not required. * Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills. * Problem solving skills with high attention to detail and ability to multi-task. * High School diploma or Associate's degree, and 1 or more years of experience in analytical chemistry is preferreed. * Company requires a background check and drug screen prior to employment. * All positions require dedicated team players with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.QualificationsWorking at ALS:Our people are our most valuable asset and drive our success at ALS.We are a diverse community of dedicated professionals united by our passion to make a difference in the world.
