Tymetal is actively seeking an Assembler to assist in the assembly of a variety of highway equipment and custom metal fabrication products on our first shift . We are looking for a safety focused individual who takes pride in their work and has a strong attention to detail. Our Assembler may also assist in the loading and unloading of finished products and raw materials. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to handle multiple assembly and related tasks with little or no supervision. Ability to read a tape measure and prints/shop drawings. Strong attention to detail and ability meet deadlines as assigned. Automotive repair experience preferred but not required. Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed. Must be able to lift and carry as well as push and pull weights of up to 50 lbs. Ability to withstand exposure to dust, fumes and chemicals such as oil, grease, vehicle exhaust, steel and aluminum welding fumes, etc. Ability to access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time. One to three years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment desired.
